This Tianma TFT-LCD is a 4.0 inch with Consumer Lcd Display, it have LCD Controller, Backlight Cable and Tft Color Screen. TM040YDHG32 supports display 480( RGB )×800 (WVGA) with aspect ratio of 3:5 (W:H), whose pixels are arranged in RGB Vertical Stripe. As for mechanical detail, it features active area of 51.84(W)×86.4(H) mm, outline size of 56.34(W)×95.7(H)×1.93(D) mm, viewing area size of 52.84(W)×87.4(H) mm, with surface treament of Hard coating, net weight of 22.6g (Typ.). As a SFT, Normally Black, Transmissive LCM product, TM040YDHG32 can provides 550 cd/m² display Brightness 800:1 transimissive contrast ratio, 80/80/80/80 (Typ.)(CR≥10) (L/R/U/D) Viewing Angle, best view direction on Symmetry , and Response Time of 25 (Typ.)(Tr+Td) ms. Gray scale or the brightness of the sub-pixel is determined with a 8-bit gray scale signal for each dot, thus presenting a palette of 16.7M colors, also with performance of color gamut 70% (NTSC). This product adopted 8S1P WLED as it's backlight systerm which was placed as Edge light type, external backlight driver is additionally needed.
