TFT-LCD

Thin film transistor liquid crystal display, (often referred to as TFT - LCD) is one of the most liquid crystal display, it USES the Thin film transistor technology to improve image quality. Although TFT-LCD is collectively known as LCD, it is an active matrix LCD used in TVS, flat screens, and projectors.

In simple terms, the TFT-LCD Panel can be viewed as a layer of liquid crystal sandwiched between two glass substrates. The upper glass substrate is a color filter, while the lower glass has transistors embedded in it. When the electric field changes through the transistor, causing the liquid crystal molecules to deflect, in order to change the polarization of the light, the polarizer is used to determine the Brightness of the pixel. In addition, the upper glass is fitted with a color filter, so that each pixel contains three colors of red, blue and green. These pixels with red, blue and green colors constitute the video screen on the panel.
