ITO, indium oxide, weak conductive body, the characteristic is when the thickness of 1800 Anglia (Anglia = 10-10 m) will suddenly become transparent, the transmittance is 80%, further thin down the transmittance on the other hand, to 300 Anglia thickness and then increased to 80%. ITO is the main material used in all resistive touch screens and capacitive touch screens. In fact, the working surface of resistive and capacitive touch screens is ITO coating.


The outer conductive layer of the five-wire resistance touch screen is made of the ductile nickel-gold coating material. Due to frequent touching of the outer conductive layer, the purpose of using the ductile nickel-gold material is to extend the service life, but the process cost is relatively high. Although the nickel-gold conductive layer has good ductility, it can only be used as a transparent conductor and is not suitable for the working face of the resistance Touch Screen, because of its high conductivity and the metal is not easy to achieve very uniform thickness, so it is not suitable for voltage distribution layer and can only be used as a sounding layer.

The precision of the resistance touch screen only depends on the precision of A/D conversion, so it can easily reach 2048*2048, comparatively, the five-wire resistance is better than the four-wire resistance in ensuring the Resolution accuracy, but the cost is large, so the price is very high.
