ASV Lcd Panel technology

Common TN panels, VA panels, IPS panels, and CPA panels (ASV panels), you must have heard of TFT panels, in fact, these boards are TFT category.

TN panels

TN is fully called Twisted Nematic panel, and its low production cost makes TN the most widely used entry-level LCD panel, which is often seen in middle and low end display devices

VA panel

VA, fully called Vertical Alignment panel, is an 8bit more advanced panel with wide Viewing Angle than TN, which can provide 16.7m color and large viewing Angle. Of course, it is also more expensive. It is the most commonly used soft panel in LCD TV.

The front (front) of the VA panel has the highest contrast, but the uniformity of the screen is not good enough, and color drift often occurs. Sharp text is its killer feature, and black-and-white contrast is also good.MVA technology (multi-domain Vertical Alignment) can be said to be the earliest wide-angle LCD panel technology. This type of panel provides a larger viewing Angle, usually up to 170°. The improved P-MVA panel has a visual Angle of 178° close to the level and a gray-scale Response Time of less than 8ms.

PVA (Patterned Vertical Alignment) technology also belongs to the category of VA technology, and it is the successor and developer of MVA technology. Its overall quality has surpassed that of the latter, while the improved S-PVA has been able to keep pace with the P-MVA for extremely wide viewing angles and faster and faster response times.
